Since our kickoff this fall, we have been learning so much at Sidewalk about faith: having the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen, and knowing that by God's grace alone we are saved! Our memory verses have been Hebrews 11:1 and Ephesians 2:8. It's such a blessing, and a relief to know that salvation cannot come from anything we do- it is the greatest gift that God has offered us and we can rejoice in that! No matter what we do, God's gift is free to us. We cannot earn it and we cannot lose it.
It's only been a month since we've been back on site, but God has already been so faithful to bring kids to us who we can have privilege of sharing the Gospel with. Some things we would ask you to pray for are:
that God would bring salvation to the kids and their families
for their health and safety
for our ability to share the Gospel effectively; for organization and a decrease in distractions on site
and also for tutoring; that God would allow for more learning opportunities and a continued amazing weekly turnout.
